What a life it’s been for Ole Henriksen! Born in a small Danish country village he enjoyed a happy childhood and then…..the adventure bug bit. He yearned to see the world and he traveled to Indonesia. Quite a switch from Denmark! It was there, in Indonesia, that his previously healthy complexion succumbed to cystic acne.
Unaware of how to deal with such a condition, he consulted Lagita, an aesthetician in Jakarta, who was able to restore Ole’s skin to its natural healthy state by the use of botanicals. Thus, Ole’s interest in proper skin care was born. Lucky for us! He later earned degrees in skin care and cosmetic chemistry before coming to the United States and opening his Los Angeles spa.
The rest, as the saying goes is history. His client roster reads like the California A-list, and when he made products available through retail outlets he won uncounted devotees – including me.
His Re-Start Anti-Aging Serum is one of my favorites. Of course, like all the Henriksen line this feels light on your skin, never greasy or heavy. Light it may be but it’s also powerful as this serum holds firming and strengthening properties gleaned from some of the finest botanicals found in nature, such as Gardenia Tahitensis Flowers, Rosewater, the all-important DMAE, Vitamin C and Green Tea.
I’d suggest using it nightly by gently massaging into face and neck then follow with a moisturizer of your choice. The handy pump bottle allows for easy, no waste application.
